Terms of service

Last updated 16 October 2026

Plain version: you buy checks, you upload your own documents, we run them through a professional checking service and give you the PDF reports back exactly as they come. We delete everything after five days. We don't write your work and we don't guarantee what a report will say.

1. Who we are

turnitreport.com ("we", "us") sells document checking as a reseller: we submit the documents you upload to a third-party checking provider and return the reports that provider generates. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Turnitin LLC or any university, examination board or academic institution.

Business details and the law these terms are governed by: [ADD YOUR LEGAL ENTITY NAME, REGISTERED ADDRESS AND COUNTRY OF GOVERNING LAW].

2. Your account

3. Checks and credits

A "check" (also called a credit) entitles you to submit one document and receive the reports for it. Credits are bought in packs, are tied to your account, are not transferable, and have no cash value.

4. What you may upload

You may upload documents you wrote, own, or have permission to submit. You may not upload:

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to store your document and send it to our checking provider purely so the check can be run — nothing else. We do not add your documents to any repository or database of past submissions, and they are not used to train anything.

5. What the reports are and are not

Reports are produced by a third-party checking engine and passed to you unedited. We do not alter, re-score, or interpret them.

6. Honest use

This service exists so you can see what a report says about your own work while you can still fix it. Using it to help someone else pass work off as their own, to evade an academic integrity process, or to do anything your institution forbids, is on you — not us. We may refuse service to anyone using it that way.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of it, with notice where it is reasonable to give notice.

8. Payment

Payments are taken by our payment provider, not by us — we never see or store your card details. See the refund policy for when money or credits come back.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to this service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including academic, disciplinary, professional or financial consequences arising from a report or from a delay.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are posted to the changelog. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

11. Getting in touch

Everything goes through our Discord — it is the fastest way to reach a human, and where account, payment and report issues are handled. Quote the TR- reference shown next to a check if your question is about a specific one.
