Refund policy

Plain version: if a check fails on our side, you don't lose the credit — a human looks at it and puts it back. If the check ran and you simply don't like what the report says, that is not a refund, because the work was done.
If a check fails or gets cancelled
The credit is held, not lost. Every failed or cancelled check is flagged, we are notified automatically, and someone reviews it. Where the failure was on our side or our provider's, the credit goes back to your account.
You don't have to chase us for this, but if you'd like an update, open a ticket on Discord and quote the TR- reference shown next to the check.
If you never got your report
If a check says it finished but a report is missing or will not download, tell us and we will either get you the report or return the credit. There is no time limit on this while the files still exist — but note that documents and reports are deleted five days after a check finishes, so tell us before then.
Credits you haven't used
Unused credits can be refunded to your original payment method within 14 days of purchase, as long as the pack is untouched. If you have used part of a pack, we can refund the unused portion at the price you actually paid per check for that pack.
What is not refunded
- A result you didn't want. A high similarity or AI score is the report doing its job. The check ran, the engine reported, the work was done.
- A report an institution disagrees with. We pass on what the checking engine produces, unedited; we cannot guarantee another system will agree.
- The wrong file, uploaded by you. Check before you submit — the credit is taken when the document goes in. We'll often return it as a goodwill gesture the first time, but it isn't something you can rely on.
- Documents deleted after five days. The deletion window is shown on every finished check and stated before you buy.
- Accounts closed for abuse, fraud or chargeback abuse.
How refunds are paid
A returned credit appears on your account immediately once approved. A returned payment goes back through our payment provider to the card or account you paid with, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We cannot refund to a different method than the one you paid with.
Before you open a dispute
Please talk to us first — we answer on Discord most of the day and nearly everything gets sorted the same day. Raising a chargeback instead closes the account while the bank investigates, which helps nobody.
Your legal rights
This policy sits alongside, and does not replace, any statutory consumer rights you have where you live. Note that a check is a digital service performed immediately: by submitting a document you ask us to start it straight away, which in many places ends the right to cancel for that particular check.
Asking for a refund
Open a ticket on Discord with the TR- reference of the check, or the date of your purchase if it is about a pack. There is no form to fill in.
